Walkway Pavers Naples FL — Paver Walkway Installers
Sosa Group is a Naples paver walkway installer. We handle paver walkway installation in Naples, FL from start to finish: front entries, side-yard paths, pool approaches, and driveway-to-door walks. Our crews excavate, build a compacted base for Naples' sandy soil, lay the pavers, and lock the edges so your walkway stays level through rainy season. Call 239-595-8046 or Build & Price your project. We send estimates within 24 hours.

Every walkway is pitched to shed water away from your home, matched to your HOA's rules, and tied cleanly into your paver driveway, patio, or pool deck. We install pavers to manufacturer specs.
PROBLEMS A NEW PAVER WALKWAY SOLVES
Muddy or worn grass paths: rain turns shortcuts into ruts, while a paver path stays usable year-round.
Cracked or heaved concrete: tree roots and Florida soil move slabs, and pavers can be lifted and reset if a spot ever settles.
Trip hazards: we set height and pitch so the route into the house or pool feels solid underfoot.
Weak curb appeal: borders and patterns frame the entry that guests see first.
Disconnected outdoor spaces: a walkway ties your patio, pool, and driveway together.
HOA standards: we work with TriCircle and Tremron pavers that fit local community rules.

How Our Paver Walkway Installers Build Your Path

Setting Heights According to Your Property’s Grade
The first step in any walkway installation is assessing your property’s grade. This is the most critical step in determining the correct height for your new paver project, as it sets the foundation for everything that follows. Once we establish the starting height, we incorporate a slight “pitch” into the design — typically about 1.5 inches of slope for every 10 feet, angled away from your home. This ensures proper water runoff while maintaining a level, comfortable feel so your walkway doesn’t resemble a ramp.

Excavation and Removal of Soil or Debris in Your New Paver Area
Naples' sandy soil washes out under a thin base, so we compact the subgrade before any base goes in. With the heights set, our crew begins excavation. Using the string line as a guide, we dig down 5–7 inches to prepare the base. All excavated soil is removed from the site and properly disposed of. Once excavation is complete, the crew double-checks all heights to ensure accuracy before compacting the subsoil. This crucial step helps stabilize the ground and prevent future settling of your walkway.

Setting Up & Installing the Subbase
We begin filling the walkway trench with RCA (Recycled Concrete Aggregate), the standard sub-base material for all our residential projects. Walkways see foot traffic, not vehicles, so the base is lighter than a driveway but still compacted for SWFL soil and rain.

The RCA is installed in layers, or "lifts," where we spread 2-3 inches at a time, compact it, and repeat until the base reaches the top of the forms. Then we add a layer of fine sand, tamped down and screeded to a smooth finish.

Since pavers are manufactured with a slight variation of about 1/16 inch, the sand layer helps us achieve a perfectly level finished walkway.
Final Stages of Paver Construction
Next, we install a concrete edge along the exposed sides of the walkway. This edge acts as a restraint, keeping the pavers securely in place so the path edges do not creep or shift over time. The concrete is set about 1 inch below the top of the pavers and then covered with topsoil for a clean, finished look.

To complete the installation, we sweep sand into the joints between the pavers, then mist it with water to set it to a hard finish. This final step locks the pavers together, discourages weed growth, and adds long-term stability to your walkway. We finish with a walkthrough of the new path with you.

Paver Sealants
You might notice how vibrant the colors of your pavers look when they are wet, and love that appearance. Sealers can give your walkway that same rich, enhanced look even when dry.

Sealing also locks in the joint sand, helping prevent it from washing or blowing out and keeping your walkway looking great for years to come.

Choose from concrete pavers in multiple colors and patterns, with single or contrasting borders that frame your front entry. Want natural stone for a walkway or pool approach? Compare pavers & travertine in Naples.
